Wasp nest.....
Ok
Point blank, I had to take these photos for the kids. We realized that we had a huge wasp nest in our window. (Yikes, this happens to be the window right above my head when I sleep) The boys found this to be fastenating, watching them work so diligently on their masterpiece. We saw one of them hatch, which was neat but rather disgusting. I am happy to report that the exterminator was here today and the nest remains but the live wasps are gone. He said that in 24 - 48 hours it will be safe to get the nest out of the window. More grossness! When he sprayed it there were somewhere between 12 and 20 wasps trying desperately to get the heck out of there! It was a sight........the boys watched very closely. Elliot did not want him to hurt them. Fine time to have his sensitive side show, LOL! Ethan was so glad that he hugged the man and thanked him for getting rid of them! Boys............never a dull moment with them around.
One big sleepy baby boy!
Carter is sure groing fast. He is now able to climb up into the rocking chair. It is so cute he first grabs a good book then climbs on up and looks at it. This is him looking at one of his favorites. It is The Cat in the Hat's Great Big Flap Book! You have to love the fact that it is nearly bigger than he is. After a while he began to get really sleepy. He is nearly seventeen months now. Time just keeps flying by around here.
Our dinner out...........
at the Pizza and Pasta Express. The boys just love to have dinner here and watch all the model trains going. This was Carter's first time there since he is old enough to enjoy the atmosphere. Carter sat at a table with us and the other three boys had their own booth in the train engine. How nice would it be to have tables like that in my house somewhere! Considering the number of boys we have I think that it would be great. We also had to visit the train shop while we were there of course. Then Daddy took the boys home (we had driven separately) and I was able to do a little bit of birthday shopping without my "helpers".
