If You Give a Moose a Muffin

This week we had a visit from Anita at Baby Talk which was very exciting to Carter because we have been quite off schedule with everything here, plus the cruddy winter weather. He right away wanted to know if she was going to read him a story and she had brought one of our favorites: If You Give A Moose A Muffin. We have this book and Carter does love it very much.

Baby Talk Field Trip

Carter and Corbin, who don't regularly get to attend baby talk but do have the regular home visits from this program, went on a field trip to the Williamson County Airport recently and got to explore the hangar in which the smaller private type airplanes are kept. Carter had a chance to get inside a few of them and see many more. He thought it was absolutely amazing! We were a bit disappointed not to get to see anything take off or land, but the hangar was impressive! We got on board a small Charter type plane for a pretend flight to somewhere tropical (since we have been living in this lovely icy weather). Carter was quick to find a seat and buckle up, it was pretty cute. Corbin of course was just along for the ride, but I think he too enjoyed getting out of the house after being cooped up. We ended the tour of the hangar with what else but a story and a song. I Love Planes was the story and then we sang an airplane song that resembled the wheels on the bus!
All in all it was fun for us.

Corbin and Ezra

Ezra and Corbin had pictures taken just not a particular milestone. Figured that 12 was a little old to use the number props and Corbin is not yet a year, he is 9 months old so they were not appropriate for him either. They turned out great though, not that my opinion is bias or anything!LOL

Some great numbers.....

Ethan at 8, Elliot at 5,
& Carter at 2. Where does the time go??

Our new portraits.....

Here is our most up to date family collage! We did pretty well considering that we are a family of SEVEN!
Amazingly we were at least all looking at the camera and no one had their eyes closed!

I really like this collage too.
It looks like a scrapbook page to me.
