Baby Talk Field Trip
Carter and Corbin, who don't regularly get to attend baby talk but do have the regular home visits from this program, went on a field trip to the Williamson County Airport recently and got to explore the hangar in which the smaller private type airplanes are kept. Carter had a chance to get inside a few of them and see many more. He thought it was absolutely amazing! We were a bit disappointed not to get to see anything take off or land, but the hangar was impressive! We got on board a small Charter type plane for a pretend flight to somewhere tropical (since we have been living in this lovely icy weather). Carter was quick to find a seat and buckle up, it was pretty cute. Corbin of course was just along for the ride, but I think he too enjoyed getting out of the house after being cooped up. We ended the tour of the hangar with what else but a story and a song. I Love Planes was the story and then we sang an airplane song that resembled the wheels on the bus!
All in all it was fun for us.
